Python Job: Python Developer - Automation

Position: Python Automation Developer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design and development of software product in Python

Create test scripts and suites in Python to ensure test result criteria

Develop automated test and test suite automation using Python

Define and drive automated test strategies into the validation process

Utilize development skills, data manipulation skills and scripting skills to create tests

Report on testing progress and strategy and provide interpretation and insight on progress to inform management to take decisions

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

Hands-on experience in Python, in Python application programming and automation

Proven experience developing automated test systems using a scripting language.

Write effective, scalable code. Expertise in test and debug of Python programs

Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture

Involved in designing and Implementing Test Automation strategy

Good hands-on experience in test automation framework development

Desired Skills:

Experience programming at least one object-oriented language

Strong knowledge of performance, load, and stress testing

Strong working knowledge of QA processes and methodologies

Proven understanding of white box, grey box and black box testing techniques
